Today we went back to High Broom Woods to film a few proposed shots. We took the camera and tripod with us and set up in our surroundings. We took a bin bag with us also so that when I got into position on the river bed I didn't get too dirty and wet. We worked as a team to set up ensuring the camera was in the right place. We suggested ideas to each other and helped set up the shots. We positioned the bin bag carefully onto the river bed by the edge of the stream. My group helped me get into position and they then shot the scene. I really enjoyed this filming exercise as I feel that we have gained a lot from these filming sessions because we are more confident with the camera and using it with the tripod. We feel more confident now for coming to film the real scene. There won’t be that many changes to what we have practised. The only modifications will be the costume/clothing of Beth, there won’t be the bin bag and we might possibly have a water damaged note in one of Beth's hands to add to the sense of mystery of the story. I feel very confident with how things are progressing, we still have quite a lot to consider but I am feeling confident and excited for our next progression.
